North Macedonia's Makedonija Osiguruvanje, member of the Vienna Insurance Group and one of the largest insurers in the country, will propose to its shareholders to distribute MKD 90.1 million (~EUR 1.46 million) as dividend for 2024, SeeNews writes.

The proposal will be put to the vote at a shareholders meeting scheduled for June 4.

It is noted that the insurer turned to a net loss of MKD 12.2 million in 2024 from a net profit of MKD 39.3 million in 2023.

Makedonija Osiguruvanje, set up as a state-owned insurer in 1945, became part of Austria's Vienna Insurance Group in 2013.
