Next Insurance generated 52,000+ digital insurance certificates since launch

22 August 2019 —
Next Insurance, the Silicon Valley based insurtech, announced that the company generated more than 280,000 digital insurance certificates and issued more than 52,000 Live Certificates to customers since its new feature launch in March 2018.

One of the main goals of Next Insurance Live Certificate is to provide transparency and easy access to any third-party (consumer, investor or others) interested in a verifiable proof of active insurance policy or lack thereof, which the examined business might have.

Next Insurance states that prior to the launch of Live Certificate, "there was no way for small businesses to provide real-time verification of their insurance coverage to customers, including verifiable additional insured and policy expiry information". "The insurance industry has been failing to provide businesses what it was designed to offer - security, confidence and transparency. (...) With the Live Certificate, small businesses are now taking insurance into their own hands, giving them increased confidence - and a step up in credibility with their clients, partners, and customers," said Sofya POGREB, COO of Next Insurance.

Next Insurance is an American insurtech which aims to shorten the existing protection gap that small businesses and startups face when looking for insurance policies. The company offers digital solutions tailored for each business. Next Insurance was founded in 2016 and received a total of USD 131 million in venture capital funding from multiple well-known industry enterprises - Redpoint Ventures, Nationwide, Munich Re, Markel, American Express Ventures, Ribbit Capital, TLV Partners, SGVC, and Zeev Ventures.
