POLAND: The Management Board of PZU Zycie SA appointed for a new term

The Supervisory Board of PZU Zycie SA appointed the Management Board of the company, including its president Roman PALAC, for a new term, until December 31, 2022, the company said in an official statement.

According to information published on PZU website, the composition of the Management Board was strengthened by new members Elzbieta HAUSER-SCHONEICH, who will start working at the Management Board of PZU Zycie SA from June 1, 2019, and Marcin ECKERT, who will join the Management Board after the general meeting of the company.

"I would like to thank the Supervisory Board for their trust. PZU Zycie is an indispensable element in the implementation of the PZU Group's strategy. We offer our clients solutions for the future: health insurance, retirement programs, and modern group insurance for individual clients as well as large, medium and small companies. I am convinced that together with the newly appointed management, we will implement the goals set in our 2020 strategy," said President of PZU Zycie SA, Roman PALAC.

PZU Zycie SA is Poland's largest company in life insurance with a 30% market share in terms of GWP. The total number of clients exceeds 11 million. It belongs to PZU Group, which is the largest financial institution in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, headed by PZU SA, whose history goes back to 1803, when the first Polish insurance company was founded.
