Polish insurer PZU SA (Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen Spolka Akcyjna) informed in a statement released on its website that on 4 February 2022, that "the Company received the resignation submitted by Mr. Krzysztof SZYPULA from serving in the capacity of a PZU SA Management Board Member, effective immediately".

In accordance with Commercial Company Code, "Mr. Krzysztof SZYPULA's mandate in PZU SA expires as a result of tendering his resignation. The tendered resignation does not give any reasons".

At the same time, the Management Board of PZU SA reports that Krzysztof SZYPULA will continue to serve as a Management Board Member of the life insurer PZU Zycie (Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen na Zycie Spolka Akcyjna) and will continue to supervise the product area in both companies.
