Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS), the corporate insurance carrier of Allianz Group, announces the appointment of Phil Curtis as new Global Head of Human Resources (HR) effective April 1, 2022. He succeeds Melanie GILLIG, who moves to Allianz SE as Program Lead Future Work.

"As a key global line in the Property & Casualty business segment of Allianz Group, AGCS employs 4,250 staff of 83 nationalities in 31 countries", as AGCS representatives pointed out in a statement.

Phil CURTIS joins AGCS from his current role as Head of HR and Change at Allianz SE. In this role, he managed HR for 2,000 people working in Allianz Group's headquarter unit.

His previous HR management roles at Allianz included Head of Global HR Operations at Allianz Global Investors, and before joining the Group in 2012, he held a variety of HR management positions in global financial services companies such as UniCredit and UBS.
