Q1 net income down 9% at AON

Insurance brokerage company AON announced its net income was down by 9% to USD 305 million in Q1 2017 compared with USD 337 million a year before.

At the same time, its total revenue was USD 2.38 billion in the first three months of the year, up 5% from USD 2.27 billion in Q1 2016.

Broken down by divisions, Q1 2017 revenue was USD 984 million in Commercial Risk Solutions (up 2% from USD 961 million in Q1 2016), USD 371 in Reinsurance Solutions (unchanged from Q1 2016), USD 386 million in Retirement Solutions, USD 372  million in Health Solutions and USD 268 million in Data & Analytic Services.
