ROMANIA: Profit 7.5 times higher in the first half for ASTRA Asigurari

The company ASTRA Asigurari, the leader of the Romanian profile market, registered in the first six months of 2011 a 7.5 times increase of the gross profit, to RON 82 million, compared to RON 11 million in 1H/2010. The company also reported an increase of 57% of gross written premiums on the property segment, compared to the same period in 2010.
