INGOSSTRAKH has renewed its outward technical risk reinsurance program for 2021. The capacity of the program is RUB 8.7 billion (~ EUR 100 million), according to the insurer's press release.

The leader of the program is CATLIN Re, which has an AA- rating by the international rating agency S&P Global Ratings.

As Igor ALEKSEEV, Deputy Director of the reinsurance department at INGOSSTRAKH, explained, "the coverage includes construction and installation risks, construction equipment, breakdowns of machinery and equipment, breakdowns of electronic equipment, refrigeration equipment, loss of profit as a result of breakdowns of machinery and other risks," he said.

INGOSSTRAKH has been working on the international and domestic insurance markets since 1947, it has representative offices and subsidiaries that operate in far abroad and neighboring countries. Based on the results of the third quarter of 2020, INGOSSTRAKH ranked third in terms of GWP in the domestic market, among Russian insurers.
