Igor KOBZAR was appointed CEO of SBERBANK Life insurance, subjected to receiving an appropriate approval from the Central Bank of Russia, the insurer's press service said.

Igor KOBZAR has 15 years of experience on the financial market. Alexey LEONENKO, who has been the company's CEO since March 2019, decided to continue his career outside Sberbank Group. Under the leadership of Alexey, the company switched to electronic document management with clients, reduced the period of claim settlement, ensured uninterrupted customer service during the Corona virus pandemic.

As Natalia ALYMOVA, Senior Vice President, Head of the Wealth management unit of SBERBANK Life insurance, noted: "SBERBANK Life insurance is the leader of the Russian life insurance market. Together with the Investment and Savings division, the company is working on creating and improving the investment and accumulative life insurance products, which, along with other Sber products for retail investors, are combined under the new brand - SberInvestments. I'm sure that Igor's long-term investment experience will be useful for implementation of these tasks. I wish success to the new CEO and to the entire insurance team", she added.
