RUSSIA: On for two months increased the fees of insurance premiums to 692 billion rubles

Transfer of administration of insurance contributions to the Federal tax service has led to the increase in fees — an increase in revenues of the state budget funds for the first two months of 2017, up 2% compared to the same period last year, said the head of the FTS Mikhail Mishustin, speaking on Tuesday at the Board of tax service.

The administration of compulsory insurance contributions, which is reported in the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, FOMS and FSS from the 1 January 2017 provides tax service. Previously this was done by the FIU. Read the full story

Russian National Reinsurance Company received AAA (RU) rating from ACRA, outlook Stable

The Russian Analytical Credit Rating Agency assigned the AAA (RU) rating with the stable outlook to the Russian National Reinsurance Company (RNRC), according to rating agency' press release recently send to the media. Thus, "the credit rating assigned to the reinsurer is based on its very strong business and financial profiles coupled with high-quality management," ACRA stressed in its press release.

According to the Russian Central Bank's report, in 2016 GWP in MTPL insurance increased by only 7.17%, while in 2015/2014 GWP growth was of 45%. The trend is expected to continue also in 2017.
