Mikhail VOLKOV has been appointed CEO of SBERBANK Insurance, a subsidiary of Sberbank and the second insurance market leader of 2019, the press service of SBERBANK Insurance said.

Until this moment, Dmitry POPOV, who is now appointed the Deputy general director of INGOSSTRAKH, has been the acting general director of the company.

Mikhail VOLKOV has 17 years of experiences in insurance. From April 2014 to November 2019 he was CEO of INGOSSTRAKH and in November 2019 he was appointed President of INGOSSTRAKH, which underwent technological and business transformation under his leadership.

Representatives of Sberbank noted, that Mikhail's experience in insurance and reinsurance of large corporate businesses, motor insurance and health insurance will help a lot in the future development of SBERBANK Insurance.
