Preliminary data of the National Association of Agriculture Insurers (NAAI) for 2018 show that GWP in livestock insurance increased by 33% y-o-y to RUB 866 million, as ASN wrote.

Based on the preliminary data of NAAI, in 2018 Russian livestock enterprises insured 14% livestock more, than a year ago. Total insurance amount under all concluded livestock insurance contracts in 2018 went up by 18% (RUB 96 billion vs RUB 81 billion in 2017). Subsidies of the agro-industrial complex to livestock producers in 2018 doubled y-o-y.
