RUSSIA: mortgage insurance is leading online sales of SBERBANK Insurance

During the 1st six months of this year mortgage insurance has been the leading insurance product of online sales of SBERBANK Insurance (its share amounted to 54% of total insurer's online sales), announced the insurer in its press release.

In the 1st half year total number of online agreements of SBERBANK Insurance exceeded 130 thousand, at that total number of mortgage insurance agreements reached 70 thousand. Second place in terms of agreements was taken by travel insurance (26% of e-policies). Property insurance product for individuals ("Home protection") amounted to only 8% of online sales.

Total number of online travel insurance agreements increased 2 times if compared to the same period last year, mortgage insurance - 2.5 times, "Home protection" online agreements - 2.2 times more.

"We expect that online sales will continue to expand at a fast rate and we do our best to make online sales comfortable for customers as much as possible", noticed Dmitry POPOV, acting General director of SBERBANK Insurance.
