S&P's confirms "A+" rating for DEUTSCHE Ruck

The rating agency STANDARD & POOR's (S&P's) has confirmed its "A+" rating for the DEUTSCHE Ruck Group. The outlook remains "stable".

The rating is referring both at DEUTSCHE Ruck AG in Dusseldorf and Deutsche Ruck Switzerland Ltd, from Zurich.

In its report, S&P's confirms that DEUTSCHE Ruck has a sustainable and very strong capital base, supported by a conservative strategy for recognition of reserves. The rating agency also emphasizes the important role that the company plays in the German reinsurance market. With this in mind, it has confirmed its "A+" rating and the company's ongoing positive business performance with a stable outlook.

"The confirmation of the 'A+' rating highlights the DEUTSCHE Ruck Group's solid, sustainable development," says Frank SCHAAR, Chief Executive Officer of the DEUTSCHE Ruck Group. "The company's solid stability forms the basis for our reliability in long-term risk partnerships, which our clients value very highly."
