SAVE THE DATE for Conference on Inclusive Insurance and Microinsurance

At the end of May, the Institute for Strategic Solutions and XPRIMM invite you to attend the Conference on Inclusive Insurance and Microinsurance: the Opportunities and Challenges for CEE and the Transcaucasian Region, which will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 17 May 2017.

The main topics of the event include:
  • Inclusive Insurance and Microinsurance - the Global experience: the aim of this session is explaining the basic concepts of inclusive insurance and microinsurance, and sharing global best practices.
  • Interaction with Policymakers: inclusive insurance and microinsurance are of utmost importance to policymakers. Inclusive insurance and microinsurance can provide effective financial protection for the de-privileged strata of population at affordable prices. Policymakers should welcome the opportunity that the insurance industry can provide protection, which would, otherwise, fall on the taxpayers account.
  • Is There a Place for Microinsurance under the Solvency 2 Regime: although the EEA area is deemed a mature insurance market, we believe that there are vast sways of the population which are under protected. This session will explore to what extent the principles and practices of microinsurance can be applied to the EU markets.
  • Opportunities and Challenges in the Region: this session will deal with the regional opportunities and challenges for microinsurance. The region is characterized by low insurance penetration and all stakeholders can vastly benefit from the appropriate application of microinsurance principles.
GENERALI is the Exclusive Sponsor of the event, while AZN-Insurance Supervision Agency of Slovenia is the Knowledge Partner and XPRIMM acts as the Regional Partner.

More details will be communicated in the upcoming weeks.
