SLOVENIA: Slovenian Generali sees profit rise

In the first six months of this year insurance company Generali posted EUR 1.5 billion in net profit, which thus reported a 44 percent up on the respective period last year. Gross premiums reported an annual 10.5 percent up and amounted to EUR 45.5 million. EUR 37.2 million of the sum was generated in property insurance.

According to a research conducted by Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, insurrees placed Generali at the very top of Slovenian insurance companies based on price and quality of service. It is worth adding that 43 percent of interviewees agreed that the company offered quality service at an appropriate price.
