According to the CAP (Czech Insurance Association) quarterly figures, at the end of September 2022 the aggregate GWP reported by member companies totaled CZK 119.2 billion (EUR 4.9 billion) up by 7.5%, or by almost CZK 8.4 billion.

Life insurance accounted for 31.4% of GWP portfolio (CZK 37.4 billion, up by 3.25% y-o-y), the remaining 68.6% (or CZK 81.8 billion, up by 9.6% y-o-y) being accounted by non-life portfolio.

In terms of GWP, the largest life insurers in the country were Kooperativa VIG (30.3% market share), Generali Ceska Pojistovna (20.7%) and NN (9.3%), while the top 3 non-life insurers was formed by Generali Ceska Pojistovna (27%), Kooperativa (21%) and Allianz (12.8%).
