The GWP of Croatian insurers increased by 7.53% y-o-y in the first half of 2022, reaching HRK 6.88 billion (EUR 915 million), according to the data of the Croatian Insurance Bureau - CIB.

Non-life premiums increased by 10.9% y-o-y to HRK 5.34 billion (EUR 710 million), while Life GWP decreased by 2.8% to HRK 1.54 billion.

Of the total 15 active insurers in the country, Croatia Osiguranje was the largest with ~26.7% market share. Allianz Hrvatska followed with 12.5% and Euroherc was third with 10.18%.
