The business of the 15 th Croatia-based insurers members of HUO - Croatian Insurance Bureau - totaled HRK 9.73 billion (~EUR 1.29 billion) at the end of the third quarter of the year, up by 7.9% y-o-y, according to the monthly figures published by the Insurance Bureau on its website.

Non-life GWP increased by 10.65% y-o-y to HRK 7.55 billion (EUR 1 billion) in the January-September 2022, while Life premiums dipped by 0.62% y-o-y to HRK 2.18 billion (EUR 290 million) in the review period.

In terms of GWP, CROATIA Osiguranje was the largest insurance company in the country (25.36% market share), followed by EUROHERC Osiguranje (11.66%) and ALLIANZ Hrvatska (11.64%).
