3Q2022, the insurance sector of Kyrgyzstan ended with impressive growth y-o-y - by 51%, reaching KGS 1492.37 million (EUR 19.26 million), according to data published by the State Service of regulation and supervision of the financial market at the government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

It is noteworthy that in euro, thanks to a more favorable exchange rate, the market growth reached almost 93%.

The largest share in the market portfolio is occupied by property insurance, which reached KGS 768.79 million, while the smallest share belongs to life insurance, where only KGS 0.32 million were collected. Among all key segments, a decrease was recorded only by liability insurance.

Insurers' paid claims increased by 46.62% to KGS 250.89 million. Most of all paid claims fall on the largest segment - property insurance.

Of the 14 insurers that worked on the market as of the end of the third quarter, NSK is the leader in terms of premiums (KGS 317.10 million), ARSENAL Kyrgyzstan moved up to second place.
