Serbian insurers' 3Q results show a 6.3% y-o-y increase in GWP (in local currency), to RSD 70.9 billion (EUR 594.1 million), almost half of the additional GWP volume being provided by the motor insurance lines.

Life insurance line underperformed the market dynamics, recording only a 3% increase in GWP, to RSD 15.95 billion (EUR 133.6 million).

On the non-life side, the best performances in terms of their contribution to the market growth were recorded by the MTPL insurance and the "damages to property" insurance lines.

The state controlled insurer DUNAV remained the absolute market leader, with an over 27% share of the market GWP. GENERALI Osiguranje and DDOR completed the market Top 3, with market shares of 21% and 12.14% respectivelly.
