The Slovenian insurance market reported a 6.6% y-o-y nine months growth rate to about EUR 1.67 billion, statistics of the country's Insurance Association indicated.

Life GWP was up by 10.1% to EUR 486 million (~29% of total GWP), while the non-life GWP totaled EUR 1.18 billion, up by 5.2% y-o-y.

In terms of claims paid, the aggregate value increased by 9.8% to EUR 1.1 billion.

TRIGLAV, SAVA and MODRA were the largest life insurers in the country, with an aggregate share of 52.5%.

TRIGLAV (29%) and SAVA (19%) were the largest two insurers on the non-life insurance segment too, followed by VZAJEMNA and ADRIATIC SLOVENICA with 17.8% and 15.7%, respectively.
