The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) did not renew the license of the insurance company Tojiksarmoyaguzor (according to data for 2020, it is one of the five leaders in the insurance market in terms of assets and charter capital).

As Sputnik Tajikistan informed with reference to the press service of the regulator, the NBT refused to satisfy the application for extending the license of the State Unitary Insurance Enterprise Tojiksarmoyaguzor, when the insurer applied to the National Bank for permission to extend its activities.

The reason for the NBT's decision was the statement that the organization's activities did not meet the requirements of industry legislation.

Earlier, the NBT also canceled the license of the Mutual Insurance Support Center LLC, writes Sputnik.
