TRUST Re appoints Senior Treaty Underwriter to its Cyprus Branch Office

TRUST Re announced the appointment of Daniel STANKO as Senior Underwriter - Treaty for its Cyprus Branch Office. He will be reporting to Sinisa LOVRINCEVIC, Cyprus Branch General Manager.

Daniel STANKO will be leading the Underwriting team responsible for Treaty risks emanating from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), South Eastern Europe (SEE), Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.

"Daniel's role is a key part of the growing and experienced team in Cyprus Branch Office, tasked with ensuring consistent delivery of services across all TRUST Re's Regional Centres and achievement of strategic goals in compliance with regulatory and company standards", as the reinsurer pointed out in a statement.

A Slovenian national, Daniel STANKO has 16 years' experience in the field of insurance and reinsurance. He began his career with SAVA Insurance Company (ex. MARIBOR) in 2002 before moving to TRIGLAV Re in 2009 where he held the position of Client Manager & Senior Underwriter (International Inward Department) for the 4 years immediately prior to his appointment with TRUST Re.

Daniel STANKO has worked across several markets including Germany, CEE, SEE, Russia, CIS, Greece, Turkey, MENA, Asia-Pacific and America. In addition to being mother tongue Slovenian, he is a talented linguist proficient in English, Croatian and Serbian as well as having knowledge of French and German.
