Organized by the Croatian Insurance Bureau, the three-day technical conference benefits from the support of the Croatian Ministry of Finance.

The conference works have been opened by the speeches given by Damir ZORIC, Chairman of the Board, the Croatian Insurance Bureau, Zdravko MARIC, Minister, Croatian Ministry of Finance and Petar-Pierre MATEK, President of the Governing Council, the Croatian Agency for Supervision of Financial Services.

The morning session also hosted two important speeches offered by relevant European guests: Justin WRAY, Head of policy, EIOPA spoke about the evolution of the role of EIOPA after the implementation of Solvency II, while William VIDONJA, Head of the business, Insurance Europe presented the European professional body's opinion on the challenges ahead and conduct of business
