On 4-5 May, the capital city of Georgia, Tbilisi, will host the third edition of the International Insurance Conference of Georgia. The event will focus mostly on the major changes that will soon take place, to push the Georgian market ahead, on the path to maturity.
Co-organized by the State Insurance Supervision Service of Georgia and XPRIMM, the event will gather re/insurance professionals for two days:
- 4 May – the International Insurance Conference of Georgia, 2023
- 5 May – Workshop on Solvency II implementation
On the same occasion, a new issue of the country report on the Georgian insurance market, titled Insurance Profile Georgia FY2022, will be launched.
In the context of the upcoming introduction of the mandatory MTPL insurance in Georgia, motor insurance issues will hold a central role in the conference agenda on 4 May, while the workshop organized on 5 May will focus on the process of transition to the Solvency II regime, approaching it mostly from the market players’ perspectives.
