MTIBU (Motor Transport Insurance Bureau of Ukraine) announced 93,519 e-MTPL policies were sold in Ukraine since the launch of e-policies (on February 7, 2018) until November 12. Total GWP volume under e-policies amounted to UAH 66.4 million.

According to MTIBU during 3 quarters motor insurers generated totally UAH 1.14 billion of MTPL GWP. Paid claims exceeded UAH 491 million.

The market leaders in terms of total number of MTPL policies sold are ORANTA (251.1 thousand units), TAS (236.6 thousand units) and UPSK. In terms of sold e-policies the leaders are VUSO, PZU Ukraine and PROVIDNA. VUSO is the number one insurer in terms of electronic sales with its market share of 27.2% of the total number of e-policies and GWP generated.
