TAS Insurance Group became the leader in the Ukrainian market for all the key indicators at the end of 2024, according to the National Association of Insurers of Ukraine (NAIU), Forinsurer reports.

TAS ranks 1^st in the market in terms of GWP, thereby becoming the first company in the entire history of the Ukrainian insurance industry, GWP of which for 12 months reached almost UAH 4.9 billion (~EUR 0.11 billion). It’s worth noting that the group left the closest competitor over UAH 600 million behind.

As for many years in a row, TAS is the leader in the MTPL segment - both in terms of premiums and paid claims: the insurer paid UAH 642.2 million under MTPL policies, which is almost 32% more than the company in 2^nd place.

By a wide margin from other market participants, TAS Group leads in the Green Card segment, where the company's GWP reached UAH 1.39 billion, which is almost 84% more than what was generated by the closest competitor.

According to the FY2024 results, TAS Group also became the undisputed leader of the Ukrainian insurance market in terms of paid claims. During the reporting period, the company paid a record amount of UAH 1,975.3 million (~EUR 45.43 million) under concluded insurance contracts, which is almost 15% more than what was paid by the insurer that ranks 2^nd, the source writes.
