At the XIII Congress of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine, a new President of the LIOU Viktor BERLIN, who previously held the position of General Director of the GUARDIAN insurance company and was a Member of the National Financial Services Commission in 2012-2014, was elected, Forinsurer reports.

"Today it is important to consolidate the Ukrainian insurance market in the face of serious challenges. Our organization needs a new driving force, a strong professional who will effectively lobby the interests of insurers and unite the professional community around the LIOU. I think it's time for a rotation. I have been cooperating with Viktor Berlin for many years, I am always impressed by his transparent position. Viktor Berlin is a powerful professional who can defend the interests of insurers", said Alexander FILONYUK, former president of the LIOU.

"All market participants must respect each other and be consolidated in the development of the insurance market. I am convinced that the LIOU should plan its future already now", said Victor BERLIN.
