Insurers - full members of the MTIBU, who have the right to conclude international Green Card insurance contracts, will offer car owners an opportunity to conclude such contracts in electronic form from September 1, according to a press release from the MTIBU.

The procedure for issuing an electronic Green Card will be similar to issuance of an internal electronic MTPL policy. Like the domestic MTPL policy, the Green Card international insurance contract can be concluded either in paper or in electronic form at the choice of the insured.

"Let me remind you that since beginning of the war, insurers who are full members of the Bureau introduced a possibility of remote conclusion of international insurance contracts to make life easier for Ukrainians who were forced to evacuate abroad by car. Electronic Green Card is the next step. The process of issuance won't differ significantly", commented Vladimir SHEVCHENKO, General Director of MTIBU (Motor Transport Insurance Bureau of Ukraine).
