The leading class in terms of GWP and growth rates of TAS during the period under consideration was mandatory third party liability insurance of vehicle owners (premiums amounted to UAH 264.28 million, 35.26% share of the total insurer's portfolio, +71.6% y-o-y). GWP of the Green Card policies reached UAH 161.62 million (21.56% of the total insurer's premiums, +16.1%). Motor Hull premiums went up by 62.6%, for 7 months they amounted to UAH 126.71 million, at that Motor Hull share in the insurer's portfolio reached 16.9%.
Total paid claims of TAS during the first 7 months increased by 54.6% y-o-y, and 35.85% of all paid claims were made by MTPL class (+65.7% y-o-y), the share of paid claims under Green Card policies amounted to 27.21% (+54.2%), Motor Hull paid claims went up by 39.2% and their share in the insurer's portfolio of the paid claims reached 21.84%, wrote Forinsurer.
TAS Insurance Group, based on 2017 results of the local market GWP, was included into TOP-10 Ukrainian insurers.
