UNIQA MONTENEGRO increases market share

Uniqa Montenegro closed the third quarter of 2013 with encouraging figures. The premium volume increased by 11.2 per cent to 7.9 million euros (1-9 / 2012: 7.1 million euros). In a market characterised by stable growth, UNIQA Montenegro expanded its market share by 0.8 percentage points to 14.6 per cent (1-9 / 2012: 13.8 per cent), meaning that it ranks at fourth place on the Montenegrin insurance market.

Uniqa Montenegro enjoyed particularly strong premium growth in the non-life sector. With a premium volume of 6.7 million euros, up 12.1 per cent on the previous year, it is now the fourth-largest provider in this market. Uniqa Montenegro increased its market share by 1.1 percentage points to 14.4 per cent.

In the third quarter of 2013, Uniqa Montenegro increased the premium volume in life insurance to 1.2 million euros, up 6.3 per cent year-on-year. Although its market share declined by 1.3 percentage points, Uniqa further on holds third place on the market with a share of 16 per cent.
