Staying true to its “living better together” motto, Austrian UNIQA Group is taking a further step beyond the traditional insurance business by establishing a new subsidiary, UNIQA Sustainable Business Solutions, that will support corporate customers in risk issues, transformation and ESG topics.

Starting 1 July, the company is active in Austria, Poland, Czechia and Slovakia, with other countries to follow. Companies can utilize the UNIQA Sustainable Business Solutions services independently of a UNIQA insurance contract, to strengthen their resilience through active risk management and harmonizing their sustainability strategies with the legal framework.

Advanced risk assessment in a complex environment

Companies are confronted with an increasingly complex business environment – from regulatory sustainability requirements to growing risks from climate change and geopolitical challenges. UNIQA Sustainable Business Solutions therefore extends loss prevention beyond traditional insurance solutions and helps companies to proactively eliminate potential threats and minimize risks, a Group press release reads, adding that it supports ESG-based transformation requirements with analyses and recommendations for sustainability solutions in the sense of a holistic 360-degree perspective on customers.
