Within the framework of the II International Financial and Banking Forum, that took place on November 26 in Tashkent, the "XIII Tashkent International Conference on Insurance and Reinsurance" was held.

One of the highlights of the conference was awarding of the laureates of the "Golden Umbrella" public award, given to the best insurance organizations and specialists in Uzbekistan, UzReports.news reports.

At the conference, domestic and foreign insurers discussed further development of the insurance market, international insurance, as well as introduction of innovative technologies in insurance and its digitalization.

This year, the laureates of the award were: APEX INSURANCE as "The Best Insurance Company of the Year", Bobur ABIRKULOV, General Director of UZLIFE as "The Best Insurance Specialist of the Year", Farhod KARIMOV, General Director of Kafolat HAYOT as "The Best Manager of a Professional Participant of the Insurance Market", and the award "For contribution to the development of insurance business in Uzbekistan" was given to Sarvar OTAMURATOV, chairman of the board of Uzinsurance.

The public award "Golden Umbrella" was established by the SAIPRO GROUP and has been awarded for the 11th time. The organizers of the Forum are the National Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Financial and Banking Council of the CIS, SAIPRO GROUP, with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, the Ministry of Finance, and the Central Bank.
