MOI Insurance broker, one of the leaders in risk management, is opening a representative office in Uzbekistan - -MOI Insurance Brokers Asia, according to the Ministry of Finance of the country.

The decision to issue the broker's license was made on December 21, 2018. MOI has been developing business in Central Asia for 15 years. Opening of the MOI office in Uzbekistan follows the fact that the local insurance market has changed dramatically and insurance has become an integral part of the economy. Macroeconomic indicators are steadily growing, volume of the insurance market is increasing (over the past 5 years Uzbek insurance market has grown more than 3 times), as allinsurance.kz wrote.

Also the choice of Uzbekistan was positively affected by that in December 2018 S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'BB-/B' long-term and short-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings to Uzbekistan, outlook stable.
