One of the leading insurance market participants in Uzbekistan, O‘ZAGROSUG‘URTA paid out UZS 27 billion (~EUR 1.88 million) for 1,438 insurance cases in the first seven months of this year, gazeta.uz writes.

Positive changes were recorded in MTPL. In the first seven months of 2025, the number of policies issued exceeded 64 thousand, while insurance payments exceeded UZS 4.7 billion.

The company’s property insurance business is also developing steadily. In the period under review, over 22 thousand contracts were concluded, and paid claims exceeded UZS 14 billion.

In the accident insurance segment, more than 40 thousand people were insured in the first seven months, and the company paid over UZS 3 billion to its clients.

In addition, in the field of marketing development, at the Tashkent Marketing Forum 2025, which was recognized as a unique and large-scale event in Central Asia, the company received an award “For Contribution to the Development of Online Insurance in Uzbekistan in 2024”.

As one of the leading participants in the insurance market of Uzbekistan, the company was assigned a long-term financial stability rating of Ba3 from Moody's rating agency. The outlook is “Positive”. It is noted that the rating guarantees timely fulfillment of obligations by the company and sets a high level of reliability for high-quality investors, the source added.
