From January to September this year, the paid claims' growth rate of O'zbekinvest Hayot amounted to 88% y-o-y and reached UZS 49.6 billion, announced UzReport.

The company's activity is mainly focused on voluntary insurance, which has a 95.8% share of its portfolio. Paid claims of the insurer's voluntary classes amount to 94.9% of all paid claims while the share of compulsory insurance of the employer's civil liability accounts only for 4.19%. The ratio between paid claims and the company's GWP during the period under consideration amounted to 67%.

Based on 2017 results, O'zbekinvest Hayot was among the TOP-10 local market leaders in terms of GWP with a market share of 6.8% (5^th place), and according to the 1H2018 result, the insurer took 8^th place in the Uzbek market ranking out of 27 companies.
