ALSKOM has registered a new life insurer: ALSKOM-VITA. The license, based on the order of the Ministry of Finance, was issued May 29, 2019, as reported by UzReport news agency.

The license provides for writing of voluntary life insurance, as well as non-life insurance activities.

The Uzbek life sector as of the end of March 2019, was comprised of 6 insurance companies. In 1Q2019, ALSKOM took 15^th place in the overall market ranking in terms of GWP, from 30 insurers.
