Oʻzbekinvest Hayot, one of Uzbek top insurers, recorded a 59% y-o-y GWP growth rate in 1H 2018, to over UZS 47.6 billion (~EUR 5.2 million), while the total number of policies increased by 7% y-o-y, according to the information agency UzReport.

The main business line of the company is life insurance (more than 98% portfolio share). Oʻzbekinvest Hayot is actively developing life and health insurance products. The share of voluntary life insurance in total company's premiums exceeds 91.8% (+77%).

O'zbekinvest Hayot was established in 2003. Based on the Q1 result of 2018 the insurer had the leading position in paid claims in the local market. Last year, based on the insurer's 2016 result, the national rating agency SAIPRO confirmed the insurer's rating at uzA++, which means excellent financial reliability.
