At the end of March 2026, the BiH insurance market totaled EUR 150.56 million (BAM 294.48 million), up by 6.94% y-o-y, as the local insurance agency – AZOBIH informed. At the same time, the value of claims paid by insurers expanded by 11.62% y-o-y to EUR 67.08 million.
UKRAINE: In 1H2026 MTPL market rises 7%, while Green Card market contracts by 1.52%
The Ukrainian MTPL market demonstrated positive dynamics across most key indicators in the first half of the year: GWP increased by 7% to UAH 11.74 billion (~EUR 0.24 billion), while paid claims rose by 95% to UAH 5.63 billion (~EUR 0.11 billion), Forinsurer writes, citing a report from the Motor Transport Insurance Bureau of Ukraine (MTIBU).
