The International Center for Insurance Regulation (ICIR) and the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) will jointly host the 9th Conference on Global Insurance Supervision (GIS) under the theme "Building Resilience in a Risk-Driven World", taking place on 3 September 2025 at Campus Westend, Goethe University, Frankfurt.
This high-level event will bring together senior representatives from leading (re)insurance groups, regulatory and supervisory bodies, and prominent academics from across the globe. Discussions will center on international developments in risk-based supervision and the implementation of global regulatory standards, with a sharp focus on enhancing resilience amid today’s evolving risk landscape.
Key themes for the 2025 edition include:

- The role of governance in ensuring operational resilience
- Navigating resilience during digital transformation
Registration for the conference is now open and will remain available until 31 July 2025. Given the limited number of places, early registration is strongly recommended. A conference fee applies for industry participants, with full details available through the registration link.
