Today starts in Baku, the modern capital city of Azerbaijan, the fifth edition of the Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum - AIIF 2014, the most important event in the Caucasus Region, dedicated to the insurance and reinsurance markets.

"The importance and effectiveness of the Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum are increasing year after year. This year we built a new format for the Forum by organizing panels, workshops and seminars which, consequently, will enable the participants to share their experience and other information with each other more effectively. Also, AIIF offers a chance to have bilateral meetings which will build and strengthen the cooperation between individuals and companies as well. Considering the fact that more than 220 participants from over 30 countries are represented at the event, we can imagine how suitable it is for creating sustainable business," Orkhan BAYRAMOV, Chairman AIA - Azerbaijan Insurers Association stated for XPRIMM.

The current status of the Azeri insurance market, as well as the solutions to be adopted for a better NatCat Risks mitigation in the region or the progress and perspectives of the mandatory medical insurance are only a few of the issues that will be addressed during the first day of the event. Reinsurance will also hold an important place during the debates. "The AIIF 2014 participants will benefit from a comprehensive program backed by a group of high quality speakers, which both entitle us to expect a very interesting and highly informative Forum, offering an optimum business environment.
