The GWP of Albanian insurers rose 10.2% y-o-y to ALL 24.25 billion (EUR 251.3 million) in the first eleven months through November 2025, according to the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority (AFSA), SeeNews wrote.

The AFSA said that non-life insurance accounted for 91.54% of the total market in the period under review, while life insurance contributed 8.43% and reinsurance 0.03%.

Total paid claims decreased 3.61% y-o-y to ALL 7.5 billion in January-November of 2025.

It is noted that the statistics cover data from eight insurance companies operating in Albania.
