From January to November 2021, GWP of Albanian insurers increased by 17.6% y-o-y, reaching ALL 17.4 billion (EUR 142.8 million), SeeNews informed according to the official figures.

Non-life segment grew by 16.9% to ALL 16.1 billion by the end of November, while the life insurance segment generated ALL 1.24 million, up 24.2%, according to figures published by the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority (AFSA).

Total market paid claims decreased to ALL 6.0 billion in the review period (vs ALL 6.8 billion in January-November 2020). The statistics contains data for eight insurance companies operating in Albania.
