Of the six insurance companies operating in the country, only three remained in the list of large taxpayers of Armenia for 2022 - NAIRI Insurance, INGO Armenia and ROSGOSSTRAKH Armenia, ArmInfo reports referring to the data of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

It is noted that the insurance sector of Armenia for 2022 reduced tax payments by 38% - to AMD 1.7 billion (~EUR 4.04 million). Of these, 83.7% or AMD 1.4 billion were paid in direct taxes, with an annual decline of 35%.

Among insurance companies in terms of tax payments, NAIRI Insurance became the leader, taking 432nd place (vs 382nd in 2021), having paid AMD 623.8 million to the state budget. It is followed by INGO Armenia, which ranked 457th in this list (vs 273rd in 2021), having paid AMD 590.3 million to the state budget. ROSGOSSTRAKH Armenia ranked 554th (AMD 490 million).

Armenia Insurance, SIL Insurance and RESO were not included in the list of large taxpayers in 2022.
