The CEO of the Azerbaijan Insurance Association (ASA) Elmar Mirsalayev held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan Gurbanmammet Elyasov. At the meeting the parties agreed on establishing ties in insurance, Trend reports.

At the meeting it was emphasized that, for the first time, interaction between the parties will be established in the field of insurance. The Turkmen ambassador touched upon the importance of insurance services and highly appreciated the work done in this direction, including the activities of the Turkic World Insurance Union.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish ties between ASA and the insurance sector of Turkmenistan.
