After twelve years with the company, including four years as a member of the Executive Board, Chief Risk Officer Michiel Delfos has decided to step down as a member of Achmea’s Executive Board in 2026, according to the company’s press release.

"With his strong commitment and clear vision, Michiel has made a lasting impact on the development of risk management at Achmea. In addition, he has led the development and implementation of our sustainability ambitions with great passion. While we are sad to see Michiel leave, we respect his decision. We look forward to continuing to work together in the period ahead”, commented Bianca Tetteroo, Chair of the Executive Board.
