Acrisure Re Partners with Specialty Reinsurance Brokers

Acrisure Re, the (re)insurance division of global Fintech leader Acrisure, announced that its facultative division has signed a preferred partnership broker agreement with Specialty Reinsurance Brokers (Specialty Re), for facultative Stock Throughput and Property business, effective immediately.

Headquartered in Panama City and led by Luis Medina, Specialty Re has more than 11 years of experience delivering solutions for a range of risks across property, engineering and energy, marine, and financial lines business.

The partnership highlights further ambitions of Acrisure Re’s global facultative offering led by Ghassan Mansour, whilst giving Specialty Re access to the global reinsurance markets, significant broking capabilities spanning marine and non-marine lines and access to the full suite of Acrisure Re’s analytical tools and solutions.

In 2023 Acrisure took important steps to expand its presence in the Central and Easter Europe. In February it announced that its Facultative team has signed a preferred partnership broker agreement with Polish Smartt Re specifically for Central Eastern European (CEE) Facultative business, effective immediately. Later, in May, Acrisure acquired Unilink Group, the largest insurance distribution platform in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. The same year, in August, Acrisure bought the Bulgarian SDI insurance broker. Through these acquisitions and partnership, Acrisure added over 1,300 colleagues across Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Moldova, as well as clients in the same geography.
