22 September 2022 — Daniela GHETU
Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) appointed Anna Wlodarczyk-Moczkowska, ex-Wiener TU's CEO, as president of the management board of both Compensa insurance companies in Poland, replacing Artur Borowinski, who resigned on September 12, the Polish magazine Gazeta Ubezpieczeniowa reports.

"I am convinced that Anna Wlodarczyk-Moczkowska, as a proven manager and leader, together with Compensa's professional team, will effectively implement the strategy and ensure further supra-market development of both companies. Adam Dwulecki, nominated as the president of Wiener, will ensure the continuation of the growth path of the youngest VIG company in Poland," said Harald Riener, member of the VIG Board, responsible for Polish operations.

Anna Wlodarczyk-Moczkowska has been associated with the insurance industry for over 25 years. For the last 10 years, she was the President of the Management Board of the dynamically developing company Wiener TU SA Vienna Insurance Group, which in 2021 collected PLN 960.9 million in premiums. She is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Polish Insurance Association and was the President of the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Anna Wlodarczyk-Moczkowska on September 12, 2022 resigned from the position of President of the Management Board of Wiener TU SA Vienna Insurance Group. Her successor will be Adam Dwulecki, currently Member of the Management Board responsible for the corporate insurance area. Adam Dwulecki is an experienced manager with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry in Poland.

Changes in the composition of management boards require formal decisions by the Supervisory Boards of Compensa, Compensa Life and Wiener and obtaining approvals from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
