Branko BARJAKTAROVIC appointed Director of the Montenegrin insurance supervising body

Branko BARJAKTAROVIC was appointed Director of the Montenegrin Insurance Supervision Agency. The appointment was decided by the Council of the Agency, on January 15, following a public competition. BARJAKTAROVIC replaces Biljana PANTOVIC, who was assigned other tasks.

As Director of the Agency, Branko BARJAKTAROVIC will report to the Council of the Agency, as well as to its President, Uros ANDRIJASEVIC.

Branko BARJAKTAROVIC, former Chief Comptroller in the Insurance Market Supervision Sector at the Insurance Supervision Agency, completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, majoring in International Business, while he completed his master's studies at the Faculty of Management in Herceg Novi. In addition to the Insurance Supervision Agency, he worked as an advisor to the President of Montenegro for international economic relations (in the period 2011-2013), as well as in the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and European Integration.

The members of the Council thanked the current director Biljana PANTOVIC for the responsible and professional management of the Agency in the previous period and the full realization of the goals and tasks of the Agency during her tenure as director. Biljana Pantovic will continue her work engagement in the Agency, being assigned other tasks.
